About Crivanto
A faucet is a thing you touch ten times a day.
Most people buy one twice in a lifetime, with no idea what separates a good one from a bad one until the bad one starts dripping. The category does not help: listings are a wall of specifications with no explanation, half of them copied from a supplier sheet nobody checked.
Crivanto is a small online retailer selling kitchen and bathroom faucets. Ten models. We try to describe them the way a plumber would describe them to you — what it is, what it does, what it will not do, and what to measure before you buy.
What we sell
Ten faucets, split between kitchen and bathroom. Five kitchen models — pull-down and pull-out spouts, touchless sensors, a waterfall spout, and a set that pairs a faucet with a countertop glass rinser. Five basin models — single-hole and widespread, rotating spouts, one with a built-in filter cartridge and one with a flip-up drinking fountain.
Every one has a brass body and a ceramic disc cartridge. Those two things are most of what determines whether a faucet is still working in five years, which is why we do not stock anything without them.
Prices run from $59.99 to $249.99. That is a deliberate band: below it, the valve is usually the compromise; above it, you are largely paying for a name.

The two things worth understanding
The cartridge. Inside the handle sits a pair of polished ceramic discs. Turning the lever slides one across the other, and the seal between them is what stops the water. Ceramic does not perish the way a rubber washer does, which is why a ceramic disc faucet does not develop the slow drip that older taps are famous for. When an electronic faucet fails, it is almost never the electronics — it is the cartridge, and that is what our warranty covers first.
The self-powered display. Several of our models show the water temperature as it runs. There is no battery and nothing to plug in: a small turbine sits in the waterway and generates its own current from the flow passing through it. It is a readout, not a thermostat. It tells you what the water is doing; the lever is still what sets it.
How we work
We are not a factory and we do not pretend to be one. Crivanto is an online retailer. Our faucets are made by third-party manufacturers and sold as new units. We do not own a foundry, we did not design the castings, and putting our name on someone else's plating line would be a lie that is easy to tell and hard to defend.
What we are actually responsible for is narrower and more useful: choosing which models to stock, describing them accurately, shipping them properly packed, and standing behind them for twelve months. That is the whole job, and it is enough of one.
It also shapes how we write. Where a specification comes from the manufacturer, we say so. Where a feature has a limit, we print the limit next to the feature — the filter cartridge reduces sediment and the taste of chlorine, and it is not a substitute for a certified drinking-water purifier. Both halves of that sentence belong on the page.
Specifications we can trace
Brass body, ceramic disc cartridge, finish names and connection details come from the manufacturer's documentation. We do not add certifications, flow-rate figures or approvals that we cannot point to a source for.
Limits printed next to features
A fountain nozzle delivers whatever your plumbing delivers. A temperature display reads, it does not control. A rotating spout has three joints, not magic. Each caveat sits beside the claim it qualifies.
One channel, answered by a person
Email is the only support channel we run, which means nothing gets lost between desks. We reply within 2 business days, and we will send exact dimensions before you order if you ask.
A warranty with its exclusions written down
Twelve months against manufacturing defects. The policy lists what is covered and what is not — including that damage from incorrect installation is not a defect — so there is nothing to discover at claim time.
Installation is not a detail
These are plumbing fixtures, connected to a pressurised water supply inside your home. Incorrect installation is the single commonest cause of failure in this category, and it is not a manufacturing defect — it is also the way a faucet turns into a water-damage claim.
We strongly recommend fitting by a qualified plumber, and installation must follow the plumbing rules that apply where you live. Before you order, check your tap-hole count and diameter, the clearance between spout and bowl, and the size of your supply connections. Once a faucet has been connected to a water supply it can no longer be returned as unused, so the checking has to happen first. Email us and we will send exact dimensions.
